1910 McLaughlin tourabout

I've owned and toured this car for thousands of miles but I think the time has come to consider passing it off to a new and younger owner.  Started and drove it two days ago and it still runs great. 

 

I figure it's worth about $30,000 USD but am open to offers.  If you want a rare car that is one of perhaps two or three in the world, this is a consideration.  Like all the very early Mclaughlins, it was built on a Buick chassis so mechanically is a 1910 Model 10 Buick.  Only improvements I made are addition of a Moores two speed gearbox to the driveshaft and a Tillotson carb, though I have the original driveshaft and carb.

 Thank you for posting this. I feel it should move quickly at your price.. If only I had not bought the last Buick (a 1925 Master touring). I would have been able to consider this.

    I expect that two speed gearbox might make this car go faster than it should for the rear only brakes!

Leigh,  that picture looks like it was taken in Naramata across the Okanagan Lake from Summerland, correct???  Would your last name happen to Robertson??   Nice looking car by the way, in a beautiful wine country setting..  Leon
