NC1968Riviera
Is there a definitive Buick door mirror date decode site or chart available? I have noticed my driver side door mirror is date coded, but I have not bothered to actually read it and try to decode it. Update: Original mirror on my Riviera (code 3JC8, March 1968) A Buick mirror I just purchased to replace the worn out one on my Riviera (code 12JC7 December 1967) Does anyone know what company "JC" is? Thanks in advance Edited October 6, 2017 by NCRiviera (see edit history)
JZRIV
Na don't recall this topic coming up but if you tell me what the code is on the mirror I can probably decode for you.
Seafoam65
The original rear view mirror on my February built 69 GTO is coded 12 DVM 8. Don't know what the letters mean, but I've always assumed that the 12 is December and the 8 is 1968.

JZRIV
Only familiar with DMI (Donnelly Mirror Inc) No idea what company JC was but it would refer to the manufacturer. That is correct date coding

It's not really important as long as the manufacture date coincides with the build date of the car.

Seafoam65
If I judge a car if the mirror is dated wrong it is a mandatory 30 point deduction! Or you can buy me lunch and I will overlook it!
