WTB 1925 Buick transmission speedo adapter

My '25 Buick Standard Six just has a plug where the transmission speedometer adapter should be.I have a NOS cable and casing but it has nowhere to go at the bottom end. Anyone got a spare ?

Jim, 

   Any photos of what you have?  This is what it should look like.  My transmission is out and on the workbench if you need to see anything.  I don't have any spare transmission parts unfortunately.  1925 and 26 Standards share the same transmission.  Still the cheapest fix is a speedometer Ap on your phone.

Just remember the "nut"on the opposite side is left threaded if you are going to remove the speedo adepter.The inner axle has to be taken out from the opposite side too.

 Hi Hugh.Thanks again for your info.Attached is a photo of what occupies my speedo drive outlet. I'm not sure what I've got here ! I haven't tried to remove it.Leif says there is a shaft right through with a nut on the other side.

     Not sure what you have either.  A cap over the end or a thru bolt?    Hugh

Thanks to Leif and Hugh,I now know exactly what I need.The speedo driven gear /shaft (part number 181418) is broken off at the 4 inch mark (S/B 4 1/2") and I also need the nipple at the right end (pt # 169924) The gear only fits 1925 and the nipple fits 1924-27. Erik has the nipple but I still need the shaft.

Any help or leads are appreciated (I don't want any speeding tickets with this thing)!
