AC Fuhrman
Hey Jarvis- OK cool down a second. Tell us about your car and where you are and give us an idea what kind of money you are asking, (ballpark at least.) Lots of smart guys on this site who could help you.

Jarvis, I hope you find a caring home for the car that was your great-grandfather's. You may realize that its worth to a current collector is very modest, because mid-1970's coupes are collected only in small numbers, and people tend to search for pristine low-mileage originals. The situation may be much different in future decades. So maybe you want to put it away so it will still be in your family 25, 50, 75 years from now. Spend money on it later: You'll definitely be in better circumstances and wish you had kept it. When trying to value a car, never look at ASKING prices. Those may be double a car's worth, posted by a very optimistic seller or a dealer. SELLING prices or high bids on Ebay may give a good picture if you have several to compare. Also, the website www.hagerty.com has good old-car prices for various conditions. Hagerty is in the business of insuring collectible cars, so they have a good grasp of cars' values.
