GIGANTIC AACA Library Literature Sale-HERSHEY!

The AACA Library periodically sells excess literature.  These pieces are duplicates of material in our collection and thanks to the huge generosity of our members and friends we can make sure the literature is shared with those who appreciate and need these pieces.  It makes no sense to hoard duplicate items and the funds support our work.  Many literature dealers show up for our sales so it tells you that the prices are a bargain.  Come early to the fall meet and join us for this spectacular sale. 

 

AACA Library Fall Meet Yard Sale: Bigger & Better

The summer sun is so much fun, but October will be much cooler! Fall Meet week is right around the corner, and the AACA Library Yard Sale will be returning for its forth year. This year’s yard sale will be bigger and better than ever, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find something extra special. We will have a ton of new material for sale, including several hundred pieces of prewar sales literature. Many of these are incredibly rare examples from the brass era. In addition to sales literature there will be a wide array of shop manuals, owner’s manuals and books – three times as many books as last year!

In previous years, the yard sale has always been held in the lower level of the library. This year, it’s going to be IN-TENTS. That’s right. You asked, and we listened. We’ve expanded our floor plan to include outdoor tents in addition to the traditionally used space in the lower level. This should also provide you with some much-needed breathing room.

This year’s yard sale will be held at the library on Tuesday, October 3^rd from 4PM-7PM. Be sure to arrive here early! If you don’t, you might miss out on some excellent deals and some of the harder to find material from the likes of Packard, Pierce-Arrow, Mitchell and more. Once they walk out the door they’re not coming back. With your help we are poised to make this year’s yard sale the best yet and hope to see you there!

Note: Due to the nature of this event, we will not be able to give personal previews. However, we will eventually be releasing some videos to illustrate the variety of items that will be available.

UPDATE!

 

We will be selling tons of issues of Automobile Quarterly from Vol. 1 through Vol. 39 for the YARD SALE SPECIAL PRICE of $3.00 per issue. All of the issues are in order, so finding them should be breeze!

 

Would you prefer to buy a complete set of Automobile Quarterly? We have one of those, too. The set, which consists of every issue published will be sold for $1,000. Included with the set are some indexes, annual planners, etc. This complete set can be purchased anytime during Fall Meet week (not just at the yard sale).
