ch1929
Wow! I love the black walls.
alsancle
Great car. The colors are tasteful and I also like the blackwalls. I think the 29 Gardner touring car on the same chassis went to Europe. Maybe we will see it at Pebble in a few years.
prewar40
This is not my car but I have seen it and it is Pebble Beach flawless. This may be your only chance to own a Gardner 8 cyl roadster they are that rare. For the history buffs (That's all of us) about 1,500 pages of Gardner history goes with the car, and covers all years 1920-1931. Auction is in a few days Aug 18-19 and I'd love to see someone who reads this blog put it in their garage. trimacar
Wow, great car. Sure makes one wish one knew about Microsoft in 1986, and one acted accordingly. I, too, hope it finds a good home......
Guest Oldcartech
It sold way too cheap...it was a steal, because it was DONE TO PERFECTION!
edinmass
Sad such an interesting and well done car doesn't bring less than half the restoration cost. It will probably sit in someone's museum and never see the light of day. Any info on where it ended up? 132 was short money.
alsancle
It was very well done. Attractive. Also well shown. What would a similar standard eight Packard bring?
auburnseeker
That was a gorgeous car for the money. Almost makes me want to search for one instead of an Auburn. Wasn't there a lesser one for sale on here a while back, Obviously not nearly to the caliber this was. . Something in the 40-50 range?

auburnseeker
I was a little off on the price. That black silver red combo really makes that other one really pop and look elegant.
