Guest
Does anyone have experience in removing the lock cylinder from a '33 Dodge ignition switch? I found an original unit that has the "bent key" broken off inside the cylinder. I can work the switch off and on. I drilled a hole where the retaining clip is and can feel the clip working but can't get the cylinder out. Any takers? Can the switch be dismantled to clean and repair? Also, how do I get the coil off if I have to? There is a metal ring around the base of the coil and the cable looks to be crimped on tightly. Any thoughts appreciated.
