There was a DB Club source (Glenn Smith in Australia) for a number of original cast parts reproduced in brass and aluminum - interior hardware, hub caps, distributor housings, speedo housings, Stromberg carb bodies, generator and starter end plates, etc. Bulk orders were being coordinated by John B, 17767 Rapids Rd., Hiram, OH 44234.
The last contact info for Glenn Smith is: 3 Kruse Place, The Gap 4061, Brisbane, Australia; phone: 0-11-617-3300-1130.

There is a company called ROMAR that manufactures the endplates for those starters out of a better material. I would suggest trying to contact them through the Dodge Brothers Club technical advisor. John B who is mentioned in the above post can help also. The DBC is located at this address: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/2672/

Romar is probably a pretty good suggestion also. Here is how you can get in touch with them. You can call them and request a catalogue, it is free. The only problem I have found with them is that they are a bit pricey, however they do have some pretty good stuff, including new items.
Vern Barker's Romar
(814) 827-7601 8-10pm ET M-F
