Guest
Body shop is ready to squirt my '38. I'll have it back early next week. Real happy with their work (as usual). You can still see some of the original Sand Beige inside the deck lid. Body was super straight and rust free to start with so that made it pretty easy. Doors, jambs, rocker sills, trunk, floors, etc. all good. Edited June 23, 2017 by Guest (see edit history)
jpage
Are they painting the inside of the body too? That sand beige is a really nice color. There's a local '37 in that color, really sharp! Often wondered which way is better to paint, with everything assembled or paint each piece separately then assemble. Guest
Yes Jim, they are painting inside as well. I'm having the car painted while disassembled so I can put new fender welting in place and have it show black as original instead of painted over. And yes, I am also very lucky this car was Sand Beige, love the color.
