I have been watching this one, looks like a nice car.  It was on CL last week for $10,500 obo, I am thinking this guy bought it and cleaned it up and put it on eBay with a much better ad and photos, and the marketplace looks to be rewarding him for his efforts.

If anyone is seriously interested in the car and wants to speak to the previous owner, I saved their phone number from the CL ad.

It for sure is not the same owner just selling on eBay?

I have asked him how long he has owned it and whether he is part of the "single family" that has owned it, no response yet.

That being said, by looking at his feedback (fairly frequent seller of cars), the location of photos (there was another Riv for sale a year or two ago photographed in the same spot), the name of the person listing it on CL and the ad and photos they included, I am 99% sure it is not the same owner.

CL AD:

1969 Buick Riviera All original 430 cubic inch motor 104,000 actual miles All accessories Re-painted to original color Great condition Connie

I asked the seller how long he had owned it and his reply:

I have only owned the car for a few months. I am selling it because I just purchased a new house and have to put some money into it. I purchased the car from the original family.

To which I replied:

Then it was you that had it on craigslist less than two weeks ago? I got the impression that was the original owner's family that was selling it when I spoke with them?

HE HAS NOT REPLIED TO MY LAST MESSAGE.........
