I'm wondering what a good source or supplier would be. i.e., are all replacement horn buttons equal, or are some better than others ?? Barney Eaton Posted May 7, 2017 Share Posted May 7, 2017 There were three engineering levels (changes) for the button design. The first design had a guide with a "hook" or catch ....one of these at the top and bottom of the button. The second design was an intermediate "fix" using fishing line. The third and last design added 2 additional guides with hooks on the straight side of the button. Below is a photo of some with the fishing line fix, and the sketch shows how you can add the fishing line if most of the guide is there. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
