On the Road with '54 Special Parts

Recommended Posts

I am planning my road trip this summer, with the general outlines being from SoCal to Omaha, Southern Michigan, Pittsburg and New Jersey.  Don't ask why, but there are reasons for it all...  Timing will be end of July through the middle of August.

I will be pulling my parts trailer, so here is the offer to deliver parts while I am on the road.  Prices and delivery negotiable.

--A really super nice hood from a Texas car.  No rust through.

--Right front fender: super nice, but for some strange reason with 4 portholes.  There has to be a good story here...

--Inner fenders

--Trunk lid with very minor rust through.

--Solid doors from a 2-dr sedan.

--Rear windshield for the sedan, tinted.

--Nice driver-quality bumpers front and rear.

--Power steering assembly, complete.

--Engine block (264) and complete engines (322s)

--Brake and suspension.

--Rear end with 120 thousand miles, was quiet when parked 12 years ago.

Give me a phone number, and I can text you pictures.

BTT for ya.

Any side windows for the sedan?  Need to see if mine are EZEye or clear.

Shouldn't have any problem selling that rear end.

Have you posted on the 54 Highway yet?

Btw, you forgot Georgia on your list, :o:D

I've got a friend that needs to sell her '55, but she's developed a rod knock. She's looking for the cheapest option possible to make it a driver. If you'll be passing near Wichita on your way to Omaha (I could come meet you in Salina on I-70, or York on I-80), I'd be glad to pass on price & information on the motor.

Sorry, Lamar, side glass all went to a car in Texas.  I regret this summer will be more north-bound.  Next summer hopefully a more gentile Southern route, good Lord willin', and the crick don't rise.

I could do Wichita, but the only motor I know of for sure as a runner, and it is a keeper for my Super.  Sorry to be no use on that one,  but keep me in mind for other stuff.
