NC-car-guy
Despite subtle differences these are very similar. I have the outer case off, and the knob unscrewed from the shaft, but how does one removed the bezel that contains the fast/slow adjustment. I want to clean the glass. Also, what do you use to put back in place of the old black seal around the glass?
buick5563
If I recall correctly, it is a press fit on a splined shaft. Use clothesline as a replacement gasket.
NC-car-guy
Press fit? Ugh! Aka: will be hard to do without cracking the glass. I have 4, all but 1 run, but the goo and such on the glass needs to go
buick5563
I have taken a few apart with no issues at all. Broken at least one.

old-tank
There are at least 2 brands. Some are press fit...others unscrew. Either way take it apart to hold the shaft.

NC-car-guy
So I followed directions here : I found the knob unscrews and the bezel is press fit like mentioned above and with a tiny bit of oil and lots of patience with needle nose pliers, I got it apart withou breaking it! Used mineral spirits and a pipe cleaner to clean, ordered some clock oil, but for now here it is.
