GM 22-year calendar

Posted (edited)

I've had this rotating 22-year calendar practically for over twenty years, now, but realize that I know next to nothing about it, and a search of the internet has turned up nothing.

As you can see, it's marked with General Motors' logo, and runs from 1952 to 1973. Can anyone tell me more about it? I guess my biggest questions are, was it given out by dealerships and, if so, when?

Thanks!

Thanks, Keiser31. I have seen other perpetual calendars, but just haven't found another example of one specifically from General Motors. Do any of you own one like I have? If so, do you know anything about its history?

Clearly, it was engraved by an engraver and not made by G.M. I would say that it was made by the "Executive" company.

I notice there is a period after the G, but not after the M. Wondering if GM would have used periods at all. Maybe just someone's initials?

Hmmmm, thanks, good point. Can't believe I never thought of that. So, it could be that this calendar has nothing to do with GMC!
