What V8 motor bolts up to the Kaiser car?

Supposedly they did build a couple of experimental cars with Olds V8s. Both Kaiser and Olds used Hydramatic transmission so there is that.

One problem that crops up in cars like the Kaiser than had a six cylinder engine and no optional V8 is that there is no room for the width of the V8 and it hits the steering box. There are ways around this like moving the steering box or shifting the engine over. Back in the 50s you could buy an adapter to put the starter on the right side of the engine which made more room.

Kaiser's answer was to add a McCulloch supercharger which gave them 140HP, the same as most small V8s of the time.
