Guest SeekingSkyhawk
I am seeking a Skyhawk, automatic, in good condition. No replacement radio or installed electronics.
John_S_in_Penna
Mr. Seeking, you might also want to start another topic down in the Buick Buy-Sell category. It's on the same AACA Forum here, but you just scroll down the list of topics to the Buick section. Is this car going to be a regular driver, or one that you save as a collectible? It's good to see people wanting to preserve some "newer models" for posterity. I like the Skyhawks with the hidden headlights. And the Skyhawk wagons are, today, probably very hard to find! Guest SeekingSkyhawk
Yes, a daily driver. But a well-loved, cared-for daily driver because I had a Skyhawk and like love them! And I thought that as the category I had picked from the drop-down. But I will try again
Guest SeekingSkyhawk
And, the one I had was a red wagon. Loved it! She helped me survive an accident where normally the driver does not usually make it but sadly she did not survive.
MCHinson
You may want to look at this recent ebay auction. The dealership did not find a buyer on ebay. They probably still have it available. http://www.ebay.com/itm/302244446664?_trksid=p11002.c100350.m3745&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D41535%26meid%3Ddef7b31530e7453bb6d3a75ec92d0c95%26pid%3D100350%26rk%3D9%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D272579569020&ul_noapp=true
Guest SeekingSkyhawk
I consider that one when it was on auction but it does not have the orig radio
MCHinson
Look at the trunk photo. The original radio is in the trunk. It would be easy to reinstall. If it needs to be repaired, they can be repaired. That car looks like a bargain to me. I don't need another car but seriously considered buying it myself. John_S_in_Penna
For older cars that aren't yet in collectors' circles, try Craig's List. There are probably some Skyhawks of varying quality for sale by people who consider them just old cars. A good way to search Craig's List nationwide is www.adhuntr.com (formerly www.allofcraigs.com). There are other such nationwide search engines too.
