1960 buick electra four door. 350 motor out of a 77 corvette with lots of motor work high performance heads and intake with brand new edelbrock carb 350 turbo transmission. Posi track rear end. Very nice car has few ruff spots in the paint in some places but very straight and solid. Lowered in the rear but still factory height in the front. Cragers and bias style white walls new brakes. Power steering and power brakes. Needs exhaust work but have bland new pair of lake pipes to install on the car. Very fun car to drive and has been driven on numberous long trips. Clear nc title in my name. $6500 obo

Never did understand the allure of installing a chevy in anything but a chevy.  They were cheap motors for a reason.  And a 1977 "Corvette 350" does not exactly excite me in the least.  If anything, a detriment.

I agree with Brad

As do I. I think one, if not the, main reason is availability. They are EVERYWHERE.  Many speed/power parts. And they will fit where others will not.  Me?  Buick only unless one could not be found.

I try to keep brands together.  Chevy small block is arguably the cheapest, easiest thing to use anywhere, but *yawns* boring!

So, must have an open driveline.?  I wonder where that came from?  Sounds like he really wanted a '59 - '60 Impala...

Not my cup of coffee, however, if one had a 455 laying around it sounds like an easy swap now.

John, there's a Buick 455 on the Seattle Craigslist right now for $500, we can make this happen.
