Museum in Catoosa, OK

Recommended Posts

Read about a small museum in Oklahoma with an interesting group of cars. It called the D.W. Correll Museum, opened in 2001. They have a collection of seashells, geology specimens, local history items, and these automobiles: 1899 Locomobile, 1902 Oldsmobile, 1906 Cadillac, 1914 Dodge Touring Car, 1914 Oldsmobile, 1917 Twin Six Packard, 1919 Franklin, 1927 Stutz 8, 1930 Ford Cabriolet, 1935 Ford Fordor & 1948 Dodge Coupe. I lived in the midwest a long time, and even canoed to Catoosa once, but never head of this museum.

Yes ... it is along Route 66, 1 of a few places I did not have time to visit during my 2009 Route 66 trip.  Hoping to have some time to stop there when I'm in the general area later this month.
