Recommended Posts

Great show !! If you are an automobile hobbyist in the Northeast you don't want to miss this show. Every year collectors from all over NJ, NY, CT, PA and beyond gather to buy , sell and peruse all things automotive- dealership items, literature, ephemera, promos, license plates, garage art, hot rod memorabilia, motorcycle collectibles, and more; as well as petroliana and old time gas station items- oil cans, gas pumps, & road maps. All types of vintage advertising signs can be found from general stores, soda fountains, taverns, dairies, diners, barber shops, etc. Vendors will have old toys, and nostalgia from amusement parks & drive ins. Always a nice variety of original items.

The show will be held on Sunday April 9, 2017 from 8 AM-1 PM at the Pompton Lakes Elks Lodge # 1895, 15 Perrin Ave., Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442 . Easy to get to from Routes 202 or 23; and just 2 miles from Exit 57 off I-287.

The show is held rain or shine with indoor and outdoor vendors. The Elks Club kitchen is open serving breakfast, lunch, and beverages.

Admission and parking is free, and all are welcome.

See metropetro.weebly.com for directions.

As longtime AACA members, we schedule the show as to not conflict with AACA events in the area.

Thanks and see you at the show!

It sure would be nice to see some recent pictures from the event.  Think I asked that same question before.   Latest photos I see on the website are from 2011.   Unfortunately I'll have to miss this as it conflicts with the AACA Charlotte NC Auto Fair.  Probably not in your area there in NJ but it's one of the biggest swap meets in the country.  sure would like to try and attend this some day though.

Dang, still no reply and no updated pics - is there anyone here on the form who has been and can give me a hint as to whether or not it's worth the trip? This year it conflicts with Charlotte and that's our priority, but perhaps in future years the dates would not land on top of each other and I could consider it.  Looking for great early automobilia, advertising stuff, garage display items, the older the better!

Any post event reports?  Photos?  Checked the website and nothing there since 2011.  I'm sure others would like to know more -

thanks

Same thoughts here Terry. You would think they would at least post up some pictures and a report of this last years event here if for nothing else but as a thank you to the AACA for a bit of free advertising.

Agreed, nobody seems to be monitoring the forum after their initial posting.  Same as last year.   there are a bunch of us who would probably rent a van and make the trek but if they aren't interested in giving us enough info to entice us, forget it!
