1956 frame differences

I know that the convertible frame (chassis) has an x-member, rather than the k-brace. Are the side rails the same on convertibles as on sedans? Are there any other differences?

There is a extra body mount on each side on the convertible and hardtop frames that is not on the sedan frames,even though I have a convertible I do not know if the side rails are any different on the convertible frames. I do remember reading that some convertible frames had a extra piece welded on the side rails but not all of them had it.

Thanks, Jeff. I know about the extra body mounts. I'm trying to determine if a sedan frame is the same such that a convertible x-member could be installed in place of the k-brace.
