MikesWoodieWorld
I have a pair of 1948 Pontiac Woodie projects for sale in CA. One (the red one) was running & driving a year or so ago, see pics. They both need complete restoration, as you can see from the pics. The red one was converted into a pickup (not very well!!), but it can be converted back. I have many really good or NOS parts to go with them. Will separate or sell as a package If any interest, I am looking in the area of $5K each, OBO. Call me at 661 766 9141, email me at mikesoldecars@yahoo.com, or reply here, your choice. Greetings Grimy, Funny you would say this...the pic is of a 1947 Westcraft, way different than a Spartan Manor! But, just today, I was involved in purchasing a Spartan Manor, of which I believe to be around vintage 1949. Not for myself, but for a Woodie nut (worse than myself!), who wanted it to pull behind his 1952 Buick Roadmaster Woodie. Such a coincidence!! Years ago, I used to be into early...1940's trailers, but got rid of them to concentrate on Woodies. Anyway, thanks for noticing, and your prompt reply. Cheers, Mike PS: great collection of Pierce Arrows, I totally envy you!!!
Grimy
Thanks, Mike. Shame on me for misidentification--I relied on the small screen profile of the trailer. Watch out--Pierces are as addictive as Woodies!
MikesWoodieWorld
I listed these, separately, on eBay, and got a medium response. However, a couple of guys showed much interest, and I made a private deal with one. Hopefully they will get saved, which is my main consideration.
