Hi Dodge 34,

My 1932 buick manual specifies AC J12, do you have any or an equivilent?

thanks Steve

Hi Steve

AC j12 and AC GG were the 1932 oem for your 32 Buick.... They are  very hard to find new with those numbers. During WWII AC changed their numbering system  and the new AC number became  AC86. They are hard enough to find but they are out there. I do have a supply of the AC 86 plug. I charge $8.00 for my 18mm plugs plus shipping. How many are you looking for?  They are in boxes and it may take a couple of days to track them down.

Let me know.

Thanks Don,

Sorry for the late reply,  a friend of mine brought over a box of AC 86 plugs on loan for me to try them, UFFTA not sure what happened but initially the car barely ran, it did smooth out after a few minutes, so not sure whats up with his plugs or the 86 series. I reinstalled the Champion plugs and it ran fine.  I'm retiming the car and will determine whats going on with the AC plugs. Are your plugs any different than what Napa offers?

Thanks Don.

There is nothing like a 500 mile trip to make a car run better....

with regard to the new plugs they make a couple of sizes to cover all the sizes and heat ranges that were made in the day... I know a lot of the guys don`t like the new plugs ompared to the old plugs. I have not heard any complaints on the NOS plugs to date. I use NOS plugs in my 34 dodge, my other car is a long way from running but looking for plugs for that car is how I got into the spark plug  business.. FYI my other car is a 1919 McLaughlin

Let me know if you  decide you want my AC 86 plugs

The 86  and the 86 com are the same heat range , the 86 com is a bigger diameter and longer body than the 86

I have lots of 84 plugs if you are interested in a cooler plug. I have some hotter plugs as well but this is all I have in the 86 range
