Was able to snag the 66 in Cole Camp - it is the real deal GS with MW 425 , BS transmission, and Positraction rear end . I needed the fan shroud, 4 note horns, chrome single snorkel air cleaner  and a few other things for my restoration . Car had literally been sitting for 34 years in same place on the farm after 2nd owner broke a tie rod and didn't have time/money to fix it . Has 63,000 miles . Trim pieces and front bumper are good. Rear bumper has a ding that is repairable . Console is not cracked and shifter is complete . Front seat buckets are all there . If anyone needs parts , let me know and I am sure we can work out something .

Congrats!  This post has already paid off. Do you have cornering lights? I might upgrade.

That 67 GS in Florida- why are the valve covers wrong? Maybe someone swapped engines? Sure looks like a 67 except for that. Still looks like a decent buy

Guessing its a 455. I'd like to grab the posi' rear and cornering lights off her. Two '67 options.

I wonder if she has front disks.

Hi Bryan -I totally agree as I am all for restoring as many of these great cars as possible but this car would need more than the majority of people would even consider tackling. All the body panels need major work/replacement and floor pans are gone front and back . Trunk is gone . Front winshield is toast as is passenger quarter glass. Not yet sure about the 425 MW code on whether it is locked up or how good it is . QJ carb is filled with corrosion and mud dobber nests. The BS transmission and Positraction has been already promised for a 66 restoration . I will pull out anything that is salvageable and certainly willing to help anyone out if they need miscellaneous parts/trim , etc.  Thanks

That 70 GS in the Seattle area is a really good deal for someone.  (Personally, I'd remove the vinyl top but...)

Thanks for the clarification. Yep, that is too far gone with the panels gone.  Thanks for saving the parts. Imagine if no one purchased and the guy said "ah heck" and it gets crushed.

Especially if you go back to the list posted by Chimera and look at the first listing -  a 3.42 posi for $1500.  Sell your rear end and everything else is gravy.

That '67 was one I was looking at early this year before I found 'Goldie'.  It dropped off the net before I got to the point of seriously considering it, but apparently it didn't sell as those are the same photos.  I believe the asking price is also unchanged.

That '67 states "All original" - but the all original emblem post holes were filled (Newer Paint Job) - missing original wheels and wheel fender trim.

And that's just on 4 photos.  <_<

Got great potential though!

Thanks Chimera for the good leads. I hope you find your posi. I've been lookin too for ya.

Interesting comments on the 63 from Detroit.  "Clear coat"  nope, if that's original paint it's lacquer.  "transmission shifts in all gears"  nope, that's a Dynaflow.  I'd be leery of a car with a 5" tach prominently displayed.  My 2 cents on that one.

I agree it could be a nice deal!

It seems very rare to find the 1970s with buckets, even with the GS option.

That '70 in Covington is an extremely rare and nice combo. And that is a very good neighborhood despite the background imagery. I lived near there once.

Someone took care of that ride. Seems a fair price...I'm going to ask a family member in MS to check it out. Thanks guys.

Not a car put something someone might want.  Wood wheel with horn bar and cap.

Ed, I have a question on the Riviera wood steering wheels. Some of them that I see for sale online have

the metal band in the middle of the wood circumference and some only have the wood grain on the outer

rim with no metal band in the middle. Also, some of them have the two spokes going straight across, while others

have them angled down. What years used which steering wheel?

He mentions some of the goodies in his ad but he doesn't mention the power vent windows.

It looks pretty rough, but maybe for the price?

Just curious, what does this mean in the second line of his description? "power wing vents"
