John_Mereness
http://www.significantcars.com/cars/1940lincoln4/ This is perhaps the best restored 1940 Continental on the globe (knocked my socks off at first sight - Most 1940 and 41 Continentals even the 100 point ones just never have seen this level of restoration). This Lincoln will allow you the opportunity to show in AACA, CCCA, and major Concours d'Elegance (and win too !). The restoration is very close to finished and it does need additional detailing to win a CCCA Junior and Senior (easy projects though that can be done at low cost and can be done at home with a basic skill set). It is it's original color (STANHOPE GREEN - a Zephyr color) and possibly a "one-off" application to a Continental Cabriolet Convertible - I am not a green car fan, but this is an exceptional look that will make an impression on any show field ! It is a well known car of Nelson Rockefeller It has been hidden from view and has never been shown since restoration - you get to be the first We were truly impressed at how beautifully it runs (and quiet just like a Continental should be). And, the LOOK is really is incredible (just what you are looking for to be the talk of the town) - It is in an estate and they would like to move on as soon as possible - reasonable offers being presented. Car exceeds quality of 100K plus 40's and 41's currently on market.
