DiskHarv
I have a 1964 Buick Riviera that has been fully restored with an eye toward having every detail correct with one exception The underside of hood has been painted the same color and quality as the body instead of black. I need to know what the maximum deduction will be for this . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Steve Moskowitz
The MAXIMUM deduction would be 5 pts. Since the hood is there and if there are no other issues with it I would suspect that most judges would take less than 5 pts for the paint. Restorer32
I would take maybe 3 points max IF I recognized that it should have originally been black. No deduction for over restoration.
