flopped on her side ,, what is she?

Found this postcard lately of a car flopped on her side. I bet like the pipe smoking guy dressed mostly in black with the watch fob was the driver . Looks half in the bag to me. A-lot going on in the picture. Plate is a Wisconsin 1914 49098 Don't ya just wanna keep driving down the road to see whats over the next hill?

I'm always amazed that even the big people (like the guy on the far right) were little back in the early 1900s. That guy is not much taller than the axle is wide, so maybe 6 feet at best.

 

I tend to concur with your theory on the driver. He looks pretty proud. Wonder why they chose this moment to gather the family and friends for a photo? "Hey, kids, come look what crazy Uncle Chester did this time!"

I was all the excitement of the crash that gathered everyone there that day.  I wonder if Uncle Chester spilled his whiskey or had he  just finished it.
