viv w
Hi, Can anyone identify this early engine that is buried in model T stuff in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Sorry I did not have time to dig it out for better pictures as time was short and had a plane to catch. Thanks regards Viv. Layden B
With a mechanical fuel pump mounted on top I suspect this 2 cylinder opposed engine is not as old as one might guess. Maybe European origin? By the way, interesting to see a Ruckstell 2 speed Model T Ford accessory rear axle housing there. They were made close to me in Berkeley California.
nzcarnerd
Possibly Jowett. Maybe a post WW2 Bradford van version of a design that dates back to about 1910.
