stooy
G'day Everyone, I am aware these things are rocking horse do do, but I really really want one to use on my 1930 Dodge DC8 Roadster. I am looking for a Thickstun 2x2 Intake Manifold for it. There is at least one which exists (see photos below) that was sold on Ebay in 2011 and is apparently now in Canada. I am just hoping there is another one out there. If you can help me out please let me know. Many Thanks Stewart
countrytravler
That is awesome!! What exhaust would you use? Headers? I think we can make a set. We make them for the flat 6. 23 and 25 in blocks and for the Chry 8 flats.
stooy
Yeah, it would be amazing if we can find one. If we can't I might have a go at making a set of drawings off the photos using the carbs to scale the size and getting it made. I will fab the headers myself, but thanks for the offer. alsancle
A number of years ago copies were made of the Edmunds dual intake for the Super 8 packard. If you are unlucky enough to install one of these copies you will find that there was some tricks going on in the original Edmunds internal flow that did not get replicated from the casting. Not sure if this would be true for Thickstun but keep that in mind.
