70sWagoneers
Im rebuilding my 1937 Special 248ci straight eight. I cannot find the usual bolt torques for the main bearings, rod bolts, or much else for that matter. Does anyone have any idea what torques I should shoot for? Thanks James C. 70sWagoneers
Thanks Mr Wright. Ive got an original 1937 service manual, but the last number of pages is ripped off. Mine ends in the section with dimensional drawings of suspension parts. Is that where all the torque specs are? Or did Buick not list them in 1937? Morgan Wright
Look inside the chapter on engine, see if it lists the specs. The ones I gave are for 1940 series 40. Same engine.
