Mark Gregory
Right or wrong this is how my 90 year old father and I replaced my roof rails which are all rotted out . I could not find any other details showing how to do it . There is no wood kits for a 1931 Reo Royale Victoria . I also did not want to use a lot of metal brackets so I used all wood . I hope this helps another hobbyist . Thanks for posting the pictures for me John . I am going to glue the two pieces of wood together and use the bolts to draw the wood tight . So the wood will be like a one piece roof rail . The smaller piece will go behind the the existing tenon on the B Pillar and the sheet metal on the car .
