STAYGOLD
Hello, I would like to try and correctly identify these headlights if possible... Each one measures 12 1/2" tall, 12 1/4" wide and the lens opening is roughly 8 1/2" in diameter. I tried to search Google, but the closest I could find were some late 1920's Willys-Knight headlights, but they are still different. Any ideas? Guest 1923WillysKnight
Based on the BELL SHAPED BUCKET's these would have been mid to late teens; but I do not know the make. Most makes went to the DRUM SHAPED HEADLIGHT's in 1920, and the Willys Knioght started using the BELL SHAPED HEADLIGHT's in 1925 thru 1928 on their 66 series models.. The W-K BELL SHAPED light's were produced by the Indiana Lamp Co of Connersville Indiana and that company was part of the holdings of the ANSTED family of Connersville. Tom Burtch
I believe they are from a Studebaker car, about 1922-24. Maybe only on the Big 6 models? The taillights also had similar styled rims. Edited April 30, 2016 by Tom Burtch (see edit history)

nzcarnerd
To be more specific, Model EK Studebaker Big Six built from November 1921 to July 1924. Nearly 50,000 were built over the model run. The previous 1920-21 Model EG had distinctive 'curved rectangular' headlights. To be correct and pedantic it is 1920s and not 1920's. The apostrophe is only used where there is a letter missing. Edited April 30, 2016 by nzcarnerd (see edit history)
