thehandleman
So that small chrome handle shifted the car into gear? If so Wow that is interesting never seen one like that usually has linkage rods?
Guest
Just a little lever. in the picture it is just to the rt. of the steering wheel hub. The chrome on the handle is long gone.
huptoy
The 63 Tempest had the engine in the front with a flexible drive shaft to the transmission in the rear between the tires. Notice the length of the cable from the dash to the rear of the car.
