SOLD: Nice original 1940 Ford Standard Front Trim/Hood ornament and Hood Release Lever

Here is a really nice and ORIGINAL 1940 Ford Standard Front Nose Trim (hood ornament) with the hood release handle assembly. This is either NOS or a really early take-off that has been well preserved. The chrome is very clean and the letters still have most of their original paint. I have not tried to clean it but it looks like it will polish up to look a lot better, although it already looks great now.
