Trunk light is right without a cover. And Gas tank filler neck is open too.

As for the sill plate, the one in my 56 Super is also flat.  But don't go by that for the 55 Roadmaster.  Hope someone chimes in with the correct answer on that.

thanks John

shes now nearing completion and should be complete in a few days hopefully

Allan, if like the 54's the Roadmasters sill plate have a pressed tin finish somewhat mimicking the turned dash. I think I have already looked for you or someone else and all I have are corroded beyond repair. Pretty sure they are reproduced

Wow Al, you've been busy, she turned out beautiful. Love that copper color! So glad I could help with a few parts and thanks for the note of thanks to all here who helped. Look forward to more postings of shows and events you take her to. What was this one, her coming out party?

The color combination is gorgeous!  It really suits the car.  ;)

All of the the other cars at the show look shabby in comparison.

Years ago I met a restorer that painted all of his projects black (first) just to be sure there were no defects...then painted a different color.

Mr Allen,  your Buick is gorgeous.  Never seen a Buick with the gold plated grill, but I must say, I like it.  Very quick turn around too.  I can see that you also had luck finding the trunk name script.  Please don't be shy with more pictures.  Thanks for sharing with us Sir.
