Phillip Robinson
I have the manual for the 1929 chevrolet. It is hard to grasp the adjustments for the rear brakes. The rods going to the back need to be lengthened. The adjustment comes from the centre where 2 rods , in parallel, go across the width of the car. I need to turn the rear rod so that the rear brake rods have more length. The clamp holding this centre rod does not seem to want to release the rod, in order to turn rod. If I prise it open too much , I fear that I might damage this clamp. This clamp is held by one bolt and nut. Any ideas. Thanks Phil

Phillip Robinson
Put in a longer rod, as the original was cut short on both sides. This should help with a better adjustment of the rear brakes. Only noticed they were short was because of a weld half way along the shafts. Phil
