I hope everyone who has been working away over the winter on their projects are getting close to their goal of a road ready car for Spring. I got my 41 66S into the shop at the beginning of February for a phase one going over. The right side fenders got swapped out as well as the hood for starters. Fresh cooling system with modern core and lots of tidying up of fragile wiring loom etc etc. I also removed from just the front right side front suspension and frame almost 40 lbs of Pacific Northwest mud asphalt, volcanic ash and two S&W shell casings. I actually weighed it out on the shop scale. Almost ready to slap the historic plates on it. Waiting on the under seat heater cores to be re soldered. She still is sitting on jacks until the heater is re installed.

I finally got the wheels repainted in the Dante Red with the correct silver pinstripes! This is a 1938 66S.

What a beautiful car.

I "should" be driving my lowly 37 40 series coupe already,  but.......

Morgan:

Here are the pictures I took of the same car probably over 10 years ago. We had gone up to Rome NY. to test drive a 1914-B37 which we did not buy.

We stopped at the Northeast Classic car Museum on the way. A great museum!

I guess I had a focus problem too.

Saved as much original Interior as I could(washing original cloth, resewing seams and patching). Should have had someone paint it for me, im not the best painter. Although it only cost me $250 in total.

after i got my 1923 model 35 4 cylinder home… over twenty years ago after driving it from an auction in scottsdale. about a twenty mile drive with constant refilling the one quart float tank on the firewall. the top portion of the assembly was missing after the auction.

i sold the car lately in the last year. didn’t drive it much… (kinda miss it…)

Hello All. Here's my 1940 Buick. Been lurking for a couple of years in the forums and admiring the Buicks and builds, Lit a bit of a fire under me today, need to get it out and ride. Found a few years back at a mechanic shop. Seems rather solid. Done a bit of work here and there. Shocks need rebuilt, numerous electrical bugs, paint seems fine even though it's a repaint. Still chasing down some of it's Utah history as well. Mike

Very nice indeed!

I used to travel a lot for work, and when I was in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany I was amazed to see a Sunday parade of auto enthusiasts in town gathering their American and European vintage automobiles.  It was quite an experience, especially to see and hear American muscle cars rumbling in contrast through the older German streets.  It wasn't something I expected to see on any random Sunday morning.  As the years unfold for me, I have come to learn about many collectors and enthusiasts around Europe.  Its truly a sight to see and experience.

Thanks for sharing Steffen, and glad to hear its as much fun to own and operate your car as it is to turn the heads of spectators while you drive through the canola fields!

This is my 36 Buick I’m getting ready to install a 41 dual carb and dual exhaust. I’m looking for someone who really knows these Buick’s as I picked up a 39 Buick Century 60 series ring and pinion with a 3.9 gear ratio to replace my 40 series 4.4 gear ratio. I was told that a 3.9 out of a 60 series would fit my pumpkin and I bought one without do better research. So I really would like someone who has the knowledge to tell me if it will work or not. If not then hopefully they can tell me what exact year to get and I will find one and be great full for their knowledge. I guess I’m learning the hard way. Thanks again for all the help 👍🏼
