28 Chrysler
Parts come from southern Cal.and every where on the west cost to Vancouver BC.I always had to stay with the in-laws so I don't know if anything starts early. There are many places to stay. The ones closer to the freeways are nicer.
Mark Shaw
Bakersfield is the best prewar swap on the west coast. The HCCA has two car tours on Wednesday; one for big cars & one for little cars. Car tours leave the city park on the East side of the freeway from the Double Tree Hotel on Wednesday morning. It's fun to see all the early cars get ready to leave in clouds of smoke. Be at the fairgrounds by 9 AM Thursday morning for the swap and expect to see it all by noon. 30DodgePanel
Yeah the only place I ever see it is on the Horseless Carriage site... http://www.hcca.org/calendar.php
1wonton
Which is better? Turlock has been not worth going to for several years; modern junk, women with baby strollers, too many people, hardly any pre-war items.
stakeside
Dave thanks for information. Looks like a good meet. I have been to Turlock. Lots of parts and old cars, True lots of strollers and junk. Very crowded and hard to find parking .
