Reason for selling:

Sadly I just cannot afford insurance and continuous car payments after my big move from Northern Virginia to Los Angeles (Shipped the car, no cross-country). The Job I transferred out here for doesn’t nearly pay as much as back home. I am in the middle of finding additional streams of income, but as of right now I have come to the conclusion I have to sell… Hopefully things work out real soon and I don’t have to sell her! Or maybe even find a buyer and would let me buy her back little later down the road. She truly is a classic beauty and has been babied her whole life. I would really love to find her a better home with a caring owner that can continue to take care of her. She floats like a boat, and is by far the most comfortable way to get from where you are to where you are going, any day.

I am currently financing the car, so the only way I can transfer tittle is a payoff in full to Car Credit Nation whom I bought from while still in Virginia, or secondly you can pay me in exchange for keys and car, and wait till they mail out the tittle, then I can sign over to you. (1st method is preferred much more greatly) or even thirdly maybe they will let you take over financing of $200 every 2 weeks @19% interest.

Please contact me and come take a look! I am willing to ship as well, but you would have to pay for shipping.

The magazine Hemmings Motor News, and its accompanying

website www.hemmings.com, remain the foremost places to

advertise antique cars and parts.  I don't think you need to

blanket the whole internet with for-sale ads if you advertise

in Hemmings and price your car accurately for its condition.

I'd suggest taking an ad out for at least a few months.

Collector cars are a specialty item and may not sell immediately.

In today's market, in which buyers tend to be selective,

a car must be priced reasonably if it's to get many inquiries.

If you're trying to reach dedicated car collectors, you might put

the original wheels back on if you still have them:  Car collectors will

mostly want authentic original wheels and tires, and if a car

isn't authentic, they may wonder "What else has been customized?"

You can probably sell your special wheels separately and get more

money for them.

People might advise you to advertise on Craig's List, too.

You will reach a general-interest audience there--people

who may love your wheels and fine aftermarket stereo.

Even though the ads are local, there are search engines

that can look countrywide and find your car.  Others may say Ebay.

The Lincoln and Continental Owners' Club (LCOC) has a

very good magazine in which you could advertise, too.

That club is full of people dedicated to Lincolns, who will

especially appreciate cars in authentic original condition.

Mark VI's are beautiful cars.  That's exactly the kind of sumptuous

car that someone should be manufacturing today.   All the best to you in your sale!
