Wowabunga
Someone told me Saturday most of the vendors will be gone ??? I can make it Friday but don't want to miss a day of work. Any observations on hopes of finding vendors on Saturday ?
greenie
I've been there on Saturday and most of the vendors were still there- although they start packing up at noon. This year, the weather threatens to be nice- which is really not typical. We are going Friday- and then Saturday is the Chesapeake Region parts meet at West Friendship,MD.Oh, and also on Friday there is a petrolina (gas& oil) show at Frederick, MD Fairgrounds. Expensive stuff, like a free museum.Hope you have a great time wherever you wind up.

Ltc4748
Had a great time at the swap meet in York, Bought a few good items and saw a lot of nice Studebakers. Thank you to all who made the show possible. The M5 cab with the V12 Detroit Diesel was the interesting running unit and the 1930's ambulance was the non running vehicle in my opinion. GO Studebaker!!!!!!!

greenie
Looks like 2017 will be the last Studebaker parts meet at York, Pa. The end of a long run.
starlightcoupe
YEP! Sadly, after 45 continuous years the KEYSTONE NATIONAL SWAP MEET at York, PA is coming to its conclusion! Many of the volunteers who have made the Meet possible are still those who started it, and it becomes more difficult to find young volunteers. Judging from the response we've seen, many people who haven't attended recently, as well as vendors who haven't, are planning on making this perhaps the best attended in decades. If anyone has never attended this Swap Meet, it's the one you will hear stories about for a long time. http://sdckeystoneregion.com/ Edited February 12, 2017 by starlightcoupe (see edit history)
