jframe Posted February 10, 2016 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Just purchchased my first Riviera, a 1965 in white with a black vinyl roof and black deluxe interior. I have wanted one of these since I was little, and discovered that my Dad had brought me home as a newborn in his 65. Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi, since I am new to this forum. I'm proud to have one this nice, as it just rolled up 60,000 miles, and is all original, except for tiresand battery and such. The car has an interesting history, as it belonged to Junior Brown, the country music star, for over 20 years, and I have a stack of tag receipts and insurance cards in his and his wife's name to prove it. The car is also briefly seen in his music video "Sugar Foot Rag". Love driving it so far; made the 220 mile trip from Arkansas to North Alabama without skipping a beat. Odometer shows correct mileage when the owner of the car drove to meet me. Current mileage is at about 60,500. Weather is good here in North Alabama, and I hate to put this car up.
