Guest jbkelly3
Old cars are one of the hobbies I have, and having a father who taught AutoBody and Collision Repair for 33 years certainly has helped me know one old car from another ... but I am stumped, and so is he on this one. I recovered (via metal detecting, one of my other hobbies) an old center cap for an early auto. This is the most intact one I have ever recovered, but I cannot determine the maker. Anyone recognize this thing? It would be great to put a name with this relic; at 8 inches depth it was not fun project getting it to come out of the earth!! Take a look and see if you can match this one up for me.
keiser31
It says in one of my books that it is Ford. Must be for a Model N or maybe Model K.
1937hd45
Is it aluminum? It may be an aftermarket item for a Model T, had the upper part of the Ford script. Bob

Guest jbkelly3
1937hd45 Yes, it appears to be aluminum. drwatson Link is bad ..... Does anyone know what year(s) the red center was made? Even with these new hints can't find a photo to verify with.
