JayG
The only difference would be that the 22-23 heads would have oiler cups and the later ones won't.
dwollam
Not so. The later heads are a much more square profile. If I recall correctly it would be 25-early 26 to be correct. But, yes, late 22 to early 27 will bolt on. Some 24's still had primer cups, late 26 was 6 volt and had a boss to mount the coil on right front. I may have one, where are you located? Jay, I love your roadster!
JayG
Dwollam - Apparently you do like roadsters from the list of cars you have. Sorry to make the assumption that the oiler cups were the only difference. I should have stated that it is one difference. Jay

Spinneyhill
Xclnt. The torque will be generic based on stud size and fastening conditions. You will find it on the 'net.
Guest DodgeKCL
it looks like you don't need my advice anymore since you won the auction but I thought I would put in my 2 cents worth. In the Forces, and. I believe in the civilian aircraft industry,we used to stop crack creep by drilling a small hole right at the end of the crack.this disperses the forces in a circle and there is not enough left to keep the crack going. Works like a charm on cylinder heads. You can then usej b weld to close it up and make it waterproof.
