ROUSHGT
I am looking for someone to take a coupe of pictures of how the front hood latch attaches to a small bracket that extends out from the rad shell to mount the front DS & PS hood latch assemblies on a 1935 Terraplane Coupe Special G. For those that wish to do this please send me a pm and I will send you my email address. I appreciate any help you can provide as I need to find a Right and Left bracket or make something that well work pretty soon as we are at the final stage of prep before we paint this car in the next few weeks of February 2016 Thanks Doug
StillOutThere
Photos of my '34 Terraplane left front hood latch. Note its lower end attaches to a stamped bracket which is machine screw attached to the radiator shell both above and below the fender line so only the upper is readily visible. I believe this assembly would be the same on all '34-35 Terraplane and Hudson body styles. Visit "Terraplane SEVEN" on Facebook.

Thank you very much for posting the pictures and providing the narrative. We should be able to fabricate something that will work until we locate the original parts. Now that I know there is a bracket on the 34 I will go see one that is sitting in my friends barn......that is If we can get though the road without breaking through the ice. Thanks for your help. One of our fellow Terraplane enthusiasts has made me the two brackets and they are in transit to me as I write this note. The picture below was taken on Wednesday March 23 just after I got it back from the paint shop. The colour is a Jaguar 2010 Black Cherry colour called Caviar. I will certainly will enjoy driving this with new paint and interior this year and many more to come!
