1940TORPEDO
For those in the know, were lines always this long? Was this a special occasion perhaps? Edited January 21, 2016 by 1940TORPEDO (see edit history)
keiser31
There's probably a theater around the corner showing "Gone With The Wind" or some other epic film.... Edited January 21, 2016 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Grimy
Until the early/mid 1960s, Calif plates were always issued for the calendar year, Jan 1 thru Dec 31. Even when they went to year stickers (for 1957), it was still a calendar year basis. Took better part of ten years to stagger them. Whoever had money left after Christmas was lining up here, probably on Dec 31.
Larry Schramm
Looks like the typical line at the secretary of states office to get you license tags renewed or drivers license renewed.
1940TORPEDO
I've heard of people being at the dmv long enough to watch a movie. Thanks guys, kind of what I figured. Glad I don't have to do that.
