F.S.: 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible

Recommended Posts

Am helping a friend in Dallas, TX sell his 1964 Olds Starfire convertible. He has owned it since 1966, and reluctantly selling due to old age and ill health. I helped him restore it 9 years ago. 394 V-8 and the automatic transmission were completely rebuilt at that time; probably less than 1,000 miles on it since then. Total miles on the car is about 150,000. New top, carpet, paint, chrome, tires, and upholstery in 2007; been in a garage or a carport since then; originally from California so no body rust but does have some filler due to dent repair in the body that is starting to crack in a couple of places. Car is currently licensed and mechanically excellent; can be driven anywhere. I just replaced one of the mufflers, the master cylinder, and rebuilt the wheel cylinders. Has power steering, power brakes, power bucket seat for driver, power windows, tilt steering wheel, console with working tachometer, power antenna, after-market Am/FM radio but owner has the original AM somewhere. Everything works. Asking $25,000 but very, very negotiable. Owner says that finding a good home for the car is more important to him than the money. I will present all offers.
