Guest pipebomb
hi all, Picked up this Dodge brothers doodlebug yesterday. Guy i bought it from got it from a farmer about 6 years ago, never got it running. got it home, got it turning over, new condenser, cleaned carb, and it started right up !! not sure what model it was before its conversion to doodlebug/tractor/yookidy. features a very obnoxious eaton 2 speed rear end !!! MikeC5
Neat stuff! How did the name doodlebug come to be attached to these creations?
Guest pipebomb
not sure, alot of folk in this area call them yookidees. hopefully i can get the cooling system to hold water long enough to take it for a little jaunt around the yard before the snow flies.....we will see !!! 1936 Viper
Pretty common in Vermont back in the day poor man's tractor and about the only thing that would navigate dirt roads in mud season. Saw one with two transmissions once . Still a number of them around in the late 60's
