1957 Plymouth with a Perkins Diesel?

The Perkins engine would have to be a "transplant".They are an English motor now owned by Caterpillar Did the person say if it was a 4 or 6 cylinder They also made a V8 of about 180 horse power back in the 70s  A trucker friend of mine started his career in transport with a Leyland with one of these engines He ran from Brisbane to Perth twice a month around trip distance of just under 4800 miles and all this was done at 50 mph  My how times have changed
