The small tube inside the 'ACCUMULATOR SPACER' is the carrier of the brake fluid to the Accumulator.

When you say "move", just what are you asking? Up out of the spacer or just wiggle around inside the spacer?

The 'SPACER' itself is removable, by unscrewing it, leaving the tube in place, so there is of course movement possible.

Have you removed the Accumulator separately or with the spacer attached?

BUT!  The clear answer is YES, it can move. Why you would want to do that, alludes me though.

What I would like you to tell me is (1) What specific braking problem is the car exeriencing? (2) What has been done so far to remedy the situation?

(3) Is the brake pedal HARD to push? (4) Has the system pressure been checked?

DO A LITTLE TEST; Pump the brake pedal 25 - 30 times (WITH THE IGNITION KEY OFF) The brake pedal feel should become harder to push and move a shorter distance.

Once you have done that, turn on the ignition key, track the time the pump runs. Does the car still have the old brake fluid in the system? If so, it should all be flushed out through the caliper bleeds.

There are so many possibilities, but so far you have not relayed sufficient information to make any sort of diagnosis. "The car does stop" is not much help.
