Need answer to questions on 1914 Studebaker

I see you have very little on the 14 SC. I am in the process of restoring one. It is quite original and would like to get information so I can keep it that way. It was painted about 50 years ago with a nonoriginal color I know it is a dark blue on the body. Are the spokes the color of the body or what? Also are the rims painted zinc or black. I also don't have much literature on the car. Can you help me out. E-mail sperry@inlandnet.com

I can't speak specifically to your car, but in general, the wheels would have been painted the same color as the lower half of the car. If the fenders and running boards are black, then the wheels would have been black. Of course, you could just paint the wheels the color you like, and if the color is appropriate for the period, it would look just fine.
