I know I posted some pics before but this is me and my hot rod 1962 Buick Invicta Wagon....anyone here have any idea how many are still around

I fitted "Lola" with a GS dual quad intake ....just for the heck of it

Probably 90% original paint - sold new in Chambersburg PA - original bill of sale says $4,400 bucks!

Body by Ionia (Michigan)....not Fisher

Adam it is my understanding that the Buick wagons were so pricy to build - farmed out everything from the front clip back to Ionia to build - that they did not provide a lot of luxury features like air conditioning and power windows because they would have to be priced so much higher than the premium 225's

Original buyer was a guy from PA named Samuel Hostettler....he must of loved it because they took such good care of it

Now isn't that intriguing!  I have relatives in PA with that same last name, but it is spelled Hostetler (no double T).....

Could be your relatives - I was typing that from memory - I will check the bill of sale again tomorrow and let you know if a correction on my part is required

Yes - (1) T in Hostetler

Samuel Hostetler - lived in Chambersburg PA....bought the Buick at Fox Buick in Greencastle PA - 1962

How cool is that.  I will have to ask my cousin if that is a relative of his.  My cousin's last name is Hostetler; his Mom is my Dad's sister.  What a small world if it is indeed a relative.

I did ask ... & he said he's not aware of a relative with that 1st name.  Though, he did say not to take too much stock into that as they weren't close with all of their relatives ... so, who knows!
